INVESTING FOR THE FUTURE<\/h2>\n

In collaboration with Climate Partner<\/strong>, for some years now, we have joined the Carbon Neutral<\/strong> project, with which we are able to calculate and reduce the CO2 emissions<\/strong> on our Pistachio Pesto<\/strong> and Trapanese Pesto<\/strong>.
\nBy offsetting the emissions not abated with offset projects, we aim to become a Carbon Neutral company<\/strong>.
\nThanks to the Carbon Neutral sticker on the labels of certified products, our customers have the opportunity to buy responsibly<\/strong> and choose preserves that respect and protect the environment<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

To offset the CO2 emissions not abated<\/strong>, we have joined the Wind Energy project in Nashik in India<\/strong> in collaboration with Climate Partner<\/strong>.
\nThis climate protection project in the Nashik region of India replaces part of the fossil energy<\/strong> (India’s main energy source and a major source of CO2 emissions) by feeding renewable wind energy<\/strong> into the NEWNE regional electricity grid, which it feeds northern, eastern, western and northeastern India. For this purpose, four wind turbines with a total output of six megawatts were installed.<\/p>\n

SUSTAINABLE RAW MATERIALS<\/h2>\n

Almost all the raw materials come from the certified organic family farm<\/strong>, supporting the authenticity and territoriality of the processed raw material. Most of our products are made with Sicilian PDO and PGI ingredients.
\nTo respect the environment and seasonality, the raw materials are processed within 24 hours of harvesting, offering all the quality and excellence of Made in Sicily, with a 0 km supply chain, reducing CO2 emissions into the environment and costs of transport<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
