Since 1988, Campo d’Oro has been producing Sicilian food specialties in the heart of the countryside of Sciacca (AG), carrying on a family tradition renewed every day with the same passion for the true taste of Sicily.
Our facility is located at Contrada Scunchipane, 92019 Sciacca (AG), Sicily, nestled in unspoilt countryside among centuries-old olive trees, about 50 km from the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento — a place where nature, aromas and colours meet our craftsmanship every day.
We produce under five brands, each designed for a different channel:
Campo d’Oro — flagship line with Sicilian DOP and IGP raw materials
Campo d’Oro BIO — certified organic line
Villa Reale — for fine food shops, wine merchants and delicatessens
Villa Reale Supreme — luxury gourmet, duty free and gift baskets
Casa Sicilia Gourmet — dedicated to international export

The Mazara del Vallo Red Shrimp (Aristaeomorpha foliacea) is one of the most prized crustaceans in the Mediterranean, caught in deep waters off Mazara del Vallo, Sicily. Shelf life varies by category: ready sauces and vegetable preserves generally last 24–36 months from production; sweet creams 18–24 months. The best-before date is clearly marked on every jar.
After opening, cover the surface with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and store in the refrigerator. Consume preferably within 3–5 days for pestos and creams, and within 5–7 days for sauces and vegetable preserves.
Pesto should be used cold or barely warm: add it to drained pasta off the heat, loosening with a little pasta cooking water to create a creamy consistency. Excessive heat alters the fragrance of the basil and cheese. Tomato-based sauces, on the other hand, are best gently heated in a pan.
For Trapanese Pesto the traditional shape is busiate — the pasta typical of Trapani — or spaghetti. For Sicilian Pesto or Pistachio Pesto, rigatoni, paccheri, casarecce and trofie all work well. For fish sauces, long pasta is preferred: spaghetti, linguine or bucatini.
Yes. All Campo d’Oro products are packaged in 100% recyclable glass jars. The choice of glass reflects both quality considerations — it better preserves flavours and aromas — and our environmental sustainability commitment, in line with our Carbon Neutral certification.
Pistachio cream is incredibly versatile: spread on bread, brioche or croissants at breakfast; as a filling for pastries, tarts and spoon desserts; as a gelato topping; for semifreddo and mousse; paired with aged cheeses; or simply enjoyed by the spoonful. 100% Pistachio Paste is ideal for professional pastry use.
